-Hello PDC! Here is the information I have to pass along to you for the month of March!
-Our Spring Pre Kinder Dance session begins Saturday March 30th from 10:00-10:30am! Our Pre-Kinder Dance class is a Creative Movement based dance class for 2 year olds! There is still time to register for this session of dance! It is a 6-week program culminating in our Year End Recital. Please share this info with any tiny dancers you may know!
-Snow Day make up classes have been scheduled for Saturday April 27th and Saturday May 18th. Students eligible to attend the make up classes are currently Monday and Wednesday night dancers (here’s hoping there are no more snow days and we are moving forward into spring!). Snow day classes will be held for each age group so that they can practice performing their dances for one another before recital. The schedule will be….
Saturday April 27th AND Saturday May 18th
12:30-1:15 Hot Shots Snow Day Make Up Class
1:15-2:00 Starlet Snow Day Make Up Class
2:00-2:45 Petite/Junior Snow Day Make up Class
-Please remember that March tuition is now due. This is also a reminder that our studio software automatically adds a $5.00 late fee after the 10th of the month, if you pay after the 10th please be sure to include the $5.00 late fee in order to avoid billing later, we appreciate your attention to having your tuition submitted in a timely manner. Costume payments are now past due. Your students costume will not be ordered if we have not received your costume payment. If you have any questions about your bill please stop in to the office, call us at (315)274-9346 or email us at email@example.com. You can alleviate any headaches in remembering to pay your tuition at the beginning of the month by signing up for our Square invoice system! Please stop in to the office or call us during office hours to register to be billed monthly for your tuition and to pay via a link from our secure, protected Square program!
-With cold and flu season upon us we have had several students out, some for an extended period of time. Please do not risk your health or the health of your classmates and teachers by attending class when you are ill. Please stay home if you show symptoms of the flu or have been diagnosed with any sort of illness. Stay healthy everyone!
-It has been cold outside and that means it can be chilly inside as well. Please take care to wear extra layers to class in order to stay comfortably warm. Also, please wipe your feet on the way into the studio. When the dirt and salt track into the studio room, it makes for a lot of dirty (and slippery!) tights, shoes, and kids!
** Again, please take into consideration that we share the back hallway and bathrooms with several other businesses. Be sure to keep both the hallway and bathrooms neat and tidy. We also ask that children are not left unattended in the hall and that dancers keep all of their belongings in the studio so that the hallway is clear of any clutter. We appreciate your cooperation with these matters!
- We are now in the process of learning choreography for the June recital in class. I would like to remind everyone of how important attendance is in class and how integral each student is to a class. Without full attendance we are not able to progress properly with the routines. In order for everyone to feel prepared and confident for the Year End Recital I encourage you to pay close attention to your attendance in class, as you each are a very essential piece to the puzzle that we call a “dance.” I can not wait to see all of our students shine on stage in June!
-I would like to announce our February Student of the Month….KORAL BURNHAM!
Koral is a member of our Company team and one of our student teachers. She is kind, polite, responsible and is a great role model to our younger dancers here at PDC. She is a hard worker and is always willing to help her fellow dancers and teachers. CONGRATULATIONS KORAL on being named Student of the Month!
