HELLO PDC! December is another busy month here at the studio so here is all of the news we have to pass along…
Visitors Week is this Monday December 3rd-Saturday December 8th. It is critical that each student have a visitor in class with them as we will discuss both the Christmas demonstrations and the events after.
The studio will be CLOSED from Sunday December 23rd-Sunday January 6th. Classes will resume Monday, January 7th for our In- Studio Workshop Week. Please refer to your handout from Visitors Week for the Workshop Week schedule.
Our Christmas demonstrations have been confirmed for Sunday December 16th at 1:00pm and 2:30pm at Dunn Dance Theater at SUNY Potsdam. Visitors will receive a campus map during Visitors Week, we are permitted to park in lots 11,12,13 and 20. Lot 10 may be used for those needing handicap access.
**Attendance is crucial in class at this point in order to have a successful Christmas Demonstration. Please be sure to attend all classes to keep up with your dance and make our Christmas demonstrations as spectacular as can be!**
Please remember that December’s tuition is now due. This is also a reminder that our studio software automatically adds a $5.00 late fee after the 10th of the month, if you pay after the 10th please be sure to include the $5.00 late fee in order to avoid billing later. We will be doing an invoicing system through Square for any overdue accounts at the end of each month. Square will send you an invoice for the balance owed on your account, you can click on the invoice and pay via credit card right through the link! We appreciate your attention to having your tuition submitted in a timely manner. The year-end costume fee is due January 31st. The costume fee is $70 per class. If you have any questions about your bill please stop in to the office, call us at (315)274-9346 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As it gets colder outside the studio tends to be colder as well so please be sure to dress in layers at the studio. And please be sure to rid your boots of snow, salt, and sand as you enter the studio by kick them off on the rugs at the entrances. If these are tracked in to the studio rooms on dancers shoes the floors get very slippery and dirty. Stay safe and warm!
** On a similar note, please take into consideration that we share the back hallway and bathrooms with several other businesses. Be sure to keep both the hallway and bathrooms neat and tidy. We also ask that children are not left unattended in the hall and that dancers keep all of their belongings in the studio so that the hallway is clear of any clutter. We appreciate your cooperation with these matters!
We have gift certificates available for purchase in the office! A PDC gift certificate makes the PERFECT gift for the dancer in your life! Gift certificates can be used towards costumes, apparel (coming soon!), and of course tuition!
And now for our November Student of the Month…. AOIFE BURKE!
Aoife has been named our Student of the Month this month because she is willing to go above and beyond to help out at the studio when needed. She is a great dancer who always remembers her routines and gives 150% when dancing them. She is also a wonderfully kind, helpful and reliable student teacher who we are lucky to have! Thank you for all that you contribute to the studio Aoife and congratulations on being named Student of the Month!
From all of us at Potsdam Dance Company, we wish you and your family the happiest of Holidays! Thank you for your loyalty and support this year...I can’t wait to take on 2019 with you all!
